40 USD for an egg fryer seems a bit steep. I recommend a ring mold so you can fry round eggs for like 4 USD. Plus they're probably easier to get egg out of than something with hinges. Food for thought. Happy sandwiching.

thanks a lot. the reason they're so tall is actually 2 reasons: 1. there's a good amount of baking powder in the recipe and 2. i used a round cooking mold to make them

recipe:

• 1.5 cups AP flour
  
• 3.5 tsp baking powder
  
• 1.5 tsp salt
  
• 1.5 tbsp sugar
  
• 1 cup milk
  
• .25 cup heavy cream
  
• 1 large egg
  
• 3 tbsp melted butter
  
  combine all the dry ingredients in a medium bowl. whisk in the wet ingredients and beat until smooth. use about 1/3 cup of batter per pancake. cook over medium-low heat in a greased pan or on a griddle.
