Yes you can!

this is the one Verizon offers. The only issue is it looks to only support band 13, so it could have slow speeds.

Edit: here is the same thing via amazon. From additional reading, it looks to support band 4 as well :)

I’ve used this uplinked to a switch for more ports before:

You’d need some sort of LTE modem or router. Some of them are strict USB dongles and some are more like your traditional router. Like this

Those just have Ethernet jacks, which you’d then need to set up some kind of failover or routing to utilize.

From there, it’s a bit up to what your current router/firewall is. That ranges between fairly simple set up to near impossible if you are using a normal all-in-one POS.

u/CSTutor did a good write up about this with pfSense.

Hmm, interesting. Are you thinking to use one of the *new* Verizon unlimited data lines with the Novatel T1114?

When I was full timing, I used a Novatel 1114 from Verizon, with a sim card I was renting from this guy on ebay. Had to cut the sim card to make it fit, but it worked fine.

It costed me $200/m, but it was true unlimited data. The Novatel is a combination wifi router and cellphone data hotspot. I just left it plugged into the front cabinets of my RV (where the former-TV was plugged in). Anytime the power was on, I had a wifi network. Didn't have to fiddle with personal hotspots or worry about turning the hotspot off and on.

If I had been in an RV longer, I would have picked up a WeBoost 4G cell booster antenna for the RV, to get better signal in more places. The Novatel has an external antenna hookup.

It was great -- we had our apple TV hooked up to the flat screen in the bedroom (on a 1989 RV mind you) and I'm an internet professional, so you can imagine the bandwidth we used.

Also, my RV is for sale if you're in the market. Make me an offer -- I'll throw in the Novatel, too. :)
