I have this and the current model is $40. Honestly you can’t beat it. Waterproof, good range, size and shape.

I got it and the echo for Christmas but it was an unintentional matchup. I hooked it up via bluetooth from across the room. The person who gave it to me was surprised on Christmas when I got it playing and it turned out to sound better than their $100 bose soundlink

Oooo that's a Bose system I haven't seen before. I've loved my Bose Wave Radios for decades, but I've never thought about looking for a Bose option for my outdoor audio. I've used these excellent and very economical Oontz Angle 3 speakers in the past. I may have to try those Bose speakers in my garage workshop.

I mean It is at least 2/3x louder than my Nexus 6P phone, and works very well for where I use it. I find it pretty loud. If you want louder it seems like they've released a newer model that is 14w

And i have to say for the price its really nice. Not the best sound quality but it gets loud and has pretty decent bass considering the size and price. Good battery life, also its splash proof which was a big selling point for me.
