Interesting, this is significantly cheaper than some of the other native 1080p, high lumen projectors I've seen. At best I've seen some Optoma and Panasonics for ~1200-1800. In general, it's been difficult to find high lumen, high res projectors under $2k.

Here's the list prior to your suggestion:

1. Optoma Technology UHD60 - $1800

  • 2160p Resolution
  • 3000 lumen
  • 2xHDMI/1xVGA

    2. Optoma EH500 - $1130

  • True 1080p
  • 4700 Lumen
  • 2xHDMI/2xVGA/1x DisplayPort

    3. Panasonic PT-VZ580U - $1200

  • True 1080p
  • 5000 Lumen
  • 2xHDMI/2xVGA

    4. Optoma X600 - $1256

  • 1024x768 native/1080p emulated
  • 6000 Lumen
  • 2xHDMI/2xVGA/1x DisplayPort

Since there is a lot of natural light, I recommend you go for a projector with higher lumens ( brighter).. From the list you have there, those are quite decent, but within your budget you can get a much more powerful projector in terms of brightness . This Optoma EH500 with a 4700 Lumens output is much brighter than the ones you are considering and will allow you to see just about anything projected even in bright light ( therefore, it wont limit you to having to close the windows or pull blinds each time you want to use it)... Apart from that , you plan on gaming which will require a projector with minimal lag and this one is very decent in that arena.
Please not as well that this projector because of it's extra brightness, it pushes off a little extra heat, so it would not be perfect for an extremely small room in a warm environment.

Well I would recommend you change your screen for an environment like the picture you posted.

In a room with that much light and white walls and ceiling you should think about an ALR screen (ambient light rejection).

Something like this could help a lot:

You can also consider a brighter conference room projector like this:

Or if you don't like DLP maybe this:

I have been using this one for a year and I like native 1080p to make all my videos in 1080p. For the price its the best I found. My stage is about 30 feet by 20 feet has still has tons of room. To get a better would would run 5k+. I can send you a video of my mappings if you like.
