I've had those on my wish list for a while. I personally havent spent that much money on footwear.

thoughts on them?

Chippewa Cordovan Service Boot is just over $200 right now on Amazon with their 20% off coupon. Though, if you can wait, I think it would be worth it to hold out for some Iron Ranger or Wolverine 1K seconds for around the same price.

I've been wearing Chipppewa GQ's in tan for the last week or so, and I really like them. $89 after coupon.

I'm trying to decide between the Wolverine 1000 mile Cordovans, Cordovan No. 8, and the Chippewa Cordovans.

I know that the Chippewa Cordovans aren't actual Cordovan leather but that doesn't really concern as long as their aesthetic is similar.

What I want to know is is there any big difference between the Wolverines and chippewas in terms of build quality.

Some people say the Wolverines are better quaility, but too me it seems like a placeabo because so many people say the chippewas hold up very well too.

I have had a pair of chippewas for about 4 years and they are still in good condition.

I'm curious to hear anyone's personal experience or thoughts. I want to know if its worth the extra $90 for the Wolverines.
