I recommend checking out Orzly's tempered glass screen protector,

Its served me really well.

Hope this has helped!

u/askho · 5 pointsr/oneplus

This has nothing related to the aforementioned topic but if you have scratched your OPO, using a glass screen protector can sometimes hide the scratch and will smooth it out.

u/barefootBam · 3 pointsr/oneplus

I did. Very pleased with the move. The extra battery life is a huge plus for me. Size is a little daunting at first but you get used to it. After using it for a couple weeks, the Nexus 5 seems tiny in comparison.

EDIT: I would suggest the ORLY tempered glass protector on Amazon. Fits really good on the phone and can barely tell its on. Sometimes I forget I even have a protector on it.

u/utapesgeometriam · 3 pointsr/oneplus

I'm using the tempered glass protector from Orzly and it has a good oleophobic coating, seems much better than the screen on its own. Clarity is excellent and I've noticed no more glare than was present on the screen itself. I'd highly recommend it.

u/cozzy891 · 3 pointsr/oneplus

Get the Orzly

Definitely worth it. I actually prefer the feel of it over the stock screen.

u/sumchinesewill · 3 pointsr/oneplus

The clear case from Oneplus does not really protect the top or the bottom of the phone. It just protects the back and the side and it's slippery as hell.

I would go a diztronic case

and a tempered glass screen protector. The most popular one it seems is Orzly, although I've had issues with it, it seems to be the best one from reviews

There is no cases out right now that will keep the sandstone look unless you get a clear case but it'll still make it look washed out. You can get an aluminum bumper case but it cases reception issues.

u/Quabbie · 3 pointsr/oneplus

I've had mine for about 3 weeks now. Phone manufactured on September 15, my girlfriend's was on August 22... Nothing really to complain about. Battery life lasts far longer than my N5. Here are my settings and specs.

u/Justurion · 3 pointsr/oneplus

diztronic ultra tpu. They're extra reinforced around the edges for impact. and an orzly screen protector in combination with the diztronic.

I use the normal diztronic tpu and you get alot of protection without the bulk. These 2 protecters are a really good combination!:)

u/SizableCoin · 3 pointsr/oneplus

Pretty much everyone recommends the Orzly tempered glass screen protector for the OPO. It's cut perfect, rounded corners, treated specially, etc.

u/ItIsOnlyRain · 3 pointsr/oneplus

I used this and it is brilliant and I am not sure what the difference is?

u/nonhic · 2 pointsr/Nexus5

There are a lot of recommendations on the /r/oneplus forum (and newer ones than mine probably) but I use an Orzly tempered glass screen protector and a Tudia Melody TPU bumper case. I had bought a Diztronic TPU case at the recommendation of the aforementioned subreddit but I just found it cheap-feeling and ugly so I replaced it. But lots of other people like it so give it a shot.

u/allkill · 2 pointsr/oneplus

I bought this one 4 months ago, and it still holds well.

u/Avocandos · 2 pointsr/oneplus

Tudia Cygen Case

Orzly tempered glass screen protector

I would say that there are some pretty good cases on amazon. I currently am running a Tudia Cygen case and an Orzly tempered glass screen protector. The case is durable and thin and the screen protector is really smooth and feels good. I recommend getting both.

u/anotherDocObVious · 2 pointsr/oneplus

I picked up mine from Amazon..

Edit - oh, and while you're at it, get yourself a good quality case for the mobile as well - I am using the Red TPU Case, but they recently put out an Ultra version, which has slightly beefed up corners for added protection ..

One of our friends here recently also reviewed it -

u/MakeYouThink · 2 pointsr/oneplus

For me, only if it's high quality and glass. I suggest shelling out $15 for the Orzly one. I literally forgot mine was there, until I dropped my phone on concrete. I felt that awful pit in my stomach, especially knowing that I would have a very hard time replacing it. Sure enough, I turn over my phone and it is completely shattered. Then, one of shards of glass fall off, leaving pristine glass below it. Confused, i peeled off the screen protector, which had so valiantly protected my OPO's screen.

TLDR: Orzly saves lives.

u/michaelblackson · 2 pointsr/oneplus

Grab an Orzly glass screen protector from Amazon. For $15 it fits great, is easy to install, and you can't even tell it's there.

u/kleinbl00 · 2 pointsr/oneplus

Diztronic and Orzly, dawg.

u/Gorehog · 2 pointsr/oneplusone

I just got a tempered glass screen protector to replace the plastic one that I ordered from OPPO.

Couldn't be happier with it. Better touch response and no bubbles behind the screen. Also a diztronic TPU case.

u/ElmoHat · 2 pointsr/oneplusone

I don't know for sure, but I imagine the import tax to be the same. You would be better off by going with [this one] ( from Amazon in my opinion.

u/dfloyd13 · 2 pointsr/oneplus

Diztronic and Orzly. This is not even an opinion, they're the best :P Good luck!

u/Stoned_Datalore · 2 pointsr/oneplus

No email yet :/ still says processing.

I got this glass one. This is my first "high-end" device so I figured $15 (+$10 case) isn't something I'd skimp on. The plastic ones have always felt cheap to the touch for me and offer less impact protection. When the glass shield breaks it (hopefully) dissapates and absorbs some/all the impact force.

u/keoke916 · 2 pointsr/oneplus

Cheaper on Amazon

u/mxjf · 2 pointsr/oneplus

People have been having good luck with the ORZLY tempered protector.

u/GumGumGuy · 2 pointsr/oneplus
u/Captain_Midnight · 2 pointsr/oneplus

The Tudia looks nice, but I hear that its design is shoddy.

I use the Diztronic case. It doesn't look very exciting, but its durable and has a good fit. The Bugdroid is made of the same material and should hold up pretty well.

I personally don't use screen protectors. Gorilla Glass makes them pretty unneccesary, in my experience. If you want one, Orzly tempered glass protectors are considered the best.

u/Windowlicker79 · 2 pointsr/oneplus

This one on Amazon seems to be very popular.

u/Segfault-er · 1 pointr/oneplus

Yeah, I've had my phone since late January. I've gone through 2 now. I don't have a case, usually these things crack in the corner and I get rid of them.

I've been getting the Orzly Tempered Glass 0.24mm Protective Screen Protector

I've decided to go without for now.

u/sinistergummybear · 1 pointr/gifs

I put one of these and one of these and so far I'm pretty happy. I dropped an 80lb dumbbell on mine and it only caused a small crack in the phone's glass (not the glass protector). It was so small I didn't notice it till hours later, I could of sworn the phone was going to be destroyed.

u/dhol604 · 1 pointr/oneplus

It sticks out ever so slightly. Hard to notice. I have a bumper on my phone too, so I can't actually notice it...

But my phone is uber protected with low cost and almost no inconvenience. Still looks great and low profile. If I sell mine, I can sell it as 'like new' which I did with my Nexus 5 - same protection.

u/jamzzzzz · 1 pointr/oneplus

OnePlus Tech hasn't released any official screen protectors, but there are a few made by third parties, such as:

u/roughdragon · 1 pointr/oneplus
Dont like cases well at least keep that sexy screen safe with this glass screen protector!

u/james9120 · 1 pointr/oneplusone

I strongly recommend this screen protector.

Tampered glass, .24mm thick, easiest installation of my life.

u/Nikotiiniko · 1 pointr/oneplus

Well I'm gonna order [this one] ( It has good reviews. You can probably find the same or similar in other stores, if uk is not for you.

u/felipegus · 1 pointr/oneplus
u/RockyBalMoa · 1 pointr/oneplus

Right now I'm using this tank of a case with this screen protector

u/harsha_hs · 1 pointr/oneplus

Thanks for pics! I am inclined towards clear case. For screen protection, I would like Orgly but tough to get in india

u/miketech18 · 1 pointr/oneplus

For me, this phone is perfect. I cracked my screen tho and I dont believe this phone really uses gorilla glass. If you get the OPO get the Tempered Glass and good case.

Battery life is simply amazing and it charges super fast.

u/yogesh_calm · 1 pointr/oneplusone

It got bad reviews here in India.

What do you think about it?

u/itslocfoo · 1 pointr/oneplus

I am not sure. I haven't heard of anything about their Oem screen protector.

u/agent-wonderbread · 1 pointr/oneplus

Get a glass screen protector and you won't even know he difference. Screens can scratch easily on the smallest of things (like sand). It depends on which protector you get, but most people seem to like the Orzly

u/iHelp101 · 1 pointr/oneplus

Lets start off with cases. Below is a link to an article about the top 10 OnePlus One cases. You may also want to look into the tempered glass protection options. Some people claim the tempered glass is amazing, while others believe it won't protect your screen. A lot of factors play into whether your screen will crack when dropped, so sometimes you get lucky and other times you don't.

u/imapeasant · 1 pointr/EDC

yes i'm using an Orzly tempered glass ( it is a little pricey but it does the job.

u/Nashafa · 1 pointr/oneplus

Seems that the price may have gone up though. I snagged mine for around $12

u/funbob · 1 pointr/oneplus

I've never used a matte screen protector on a phone so I can't comment on it. I'd be wary of how much it might degrade image quality.

Also, it's just a plain PET plastic screen protector. You can get a 3 pack of them on Amazon for the same price in glossy, matte, or UV coated.

The smarter chocie is to get a nice tempered glass screen protector

I use these

[Case] Adore June Classic case for ONEPLUS ONE - original Cordura® - black | £8.96 via

I can't speak for the delivery time due to having Amazon Prime (next day delivery) but the case itself is pretty nice. Fabric on the outside while having the inner layer being made of a soft fleece. The case was far too tight to comfortably use, needing two hands to squeeze the phone into and out of the case. It seems to be loosening up after the few days iv had it so it appears to be getting better.

Recommendation: Haven't decided

[Protector] Orzly® - OnePlus ONE Premium Tempered Glass | £11.88 via

Quality protector, feels nice and doesn't appear to diminish the screen or touch of the device. However, it does not fit perfectly. It appears to be cut slightly smaller that the screen of the Oneplus. The left edge will fit perfectly but the right will have a small gap. Its not noticeable unless you look closely but again, its not perfect.

Recommendation: Yes

u/shem2409 · 1 pointr/oneplus

Unfortunately this product is not yet available in the US, so you would have to import it from Amazon UK. Alternatively Orzly has a tempered glass protector available for OnePlus One in the States:

u/AMeierFussballgott · 1 pointr/oneplus

I'm just looking into that (this is the right one, right?), is it a problem that there doesn't seem to be a cutout for the front facing camera?
