Hey fellow JMS major,
The Painless Grammar book saved my life. I would recommend for you to actually begin with the spelling section first as it is one of the easier sections and then proceed to grammar and punctuation based on preference. As it is your first time taking the test just go and don't worry about it as much. If you don't pass it by your second try go to Alexa in order to appeal for the major; more often than not you will be able to get in. As I know you are going to pass the test I advise you to take JMS 310W with Coddon as a lab instructor. Best of luck mate.
