If you want something just super short and bedtime related, we really like sweet dreams pout pout fish. My kid loves the pout pout fish books and i got this one expecting a longer story but it is short and sweet for ending story-time and cuddling down for bed

Edit: we do stories everynight he is 2 now and we started at 6 weeks, we don't do the same book to end storytime but these along with goodnight moon are the ones that focus more on bedtime.
You ever read It’s Pajama Time ? It makes me question my existence. Do I say pajahhma or pajammma idk maybe I say both. I say jammies and pajahhma not jahhmmies.
In my experience, kids love listening to rhymes. Hearing the rhythm and rhyme in rhyming books also helps develop literacy! Look into some Sandra Boynton books. My kids loved "Moo, Baa, La, La, La," and "Pajama Time." Dr. Seuss is obviously known for rhyming works too, but his books are much longer and would be better for kids 4+.
