To help cut down on the questions about DRM, here's some guidelines to help figure out what game has what DRM.

• If they say [DL], they're likely a download from Amazon, with exceptions, listed below. Make sure to check the product description to see if it has keys, should look similar to this: http://i.imgur.com/C9AOKDp.png
  
  
• If they say [CODE], they're a code that is redeemed elsewhere (with some slight exceptions*). To find out of it's Steam, go to the Amazon page and look for this:

• If it's an EA game, there's a very likely chance it's Origin:

• In rare cases it may be listed elsewhere:

• And if it says [CODE] but doesn't have any drm listed, it's probably a code that's used to activate a game you download from Amazon:

• [DL] Exceptions: bundles, such as the Paradox War Chest and Sea Bundleare Steam. All of the Anno 2070 offerings appear to be Uplay.
  
  
  I know the DRM can be awfully confusing, and hopefully this helps people identify it themselves. Please let me know if there's anything useful I can add. Carried it over from the previous sale post, since it seemed to help a lot of people.

You should keep an eye on here and /r/gamedeals. Paradox has sales on fairly often. I got this for $7.49 a few months back.

Also, I might get in trouble for this, but part of the reason I love Paradox is that their games are extremely easy to pirate. I bought them all as soon as I could because of the total lack of DRM. Piracy is only a problem if it's a lost sale, I personally don't see the problem with a delayed sale.

Of course, I don't know what the mods' policy on piracy is, so I'm not suggesting you pirate them.

To add to the others, I've only seen CK2 reduced as well. Have been keeping a close eye on Europa Universalis 3, as I've planned to pick that up for a while. Looks like I'll have to go for 50% "only" :-P

Picked Vic2+House divided+HoI3 up in a bundle on the Amazon salea few weeks back, 7 games for 9.99$

Don't know if you already saw this, and I haven't purchased so I can't confirm, but I think the Steam version is included in this version of the Paradox War Chest - $9.99 for the HOI3 Collection and 5 other games. Might be worth a look!

You might be interested in knowing that many Paradox titles are currently 75% off for the weekend, though I have no idea if they include Steam keys or not.

Not sure if you already bought CK2 or not, but if you were still on the fence, I imagine this news helps.

Judging from the comments in that link, it seems that Amazon is stepping in -- I'm not sure if they have a CK2 bundle or not, but this has many different Paradox games bundled together for $10, including HoI3/Vicky2.

Edit Actually, Amazon has CK2 at 75% off as well, and it shows "DRM: Steam" on the page, so pretty sure that'd have a Steam key included. Still not the best deal you could get -- as the above link shows, Amazon can go nuts with Paradox bundles sometimes. Still, it's better than full price for sure!

So, this bundle is basically Viccy 2 and House Divided at the already ridiculous sale price, plus HoI3 and a bunch of other games for an extra penny. And it uses Steam!
