Paul Mitchell Dry Wax

I put a dime size amount on my finger and rubbed my hands together. I then ran my fingers through my hair vigorously to distribute it evenly. Then I roughly styled my hair just with my fingers and used a brush to push the bangs up. Voila!

Note on the Dry Wax: it holds great, but it's a bitch to get out of my hair. Not especially recommended.

I use just the tiniest bit of [this stuff] (http://www.amazon.com/Paul-Mitchell-Packaging-Vary-Ounces/dp/B0007CXY04) . I just run it through the longer hair and piece out whatever sections I want to stick together a bit and then tousle it so it's a little messy

I mean, hard wax could work - Paul Mitchell Dry Wax is the toughest hold I've ever used (a step up from Murray's when I was using both) but it was too much when my hair got thick (I have to cut it every three weeks to thin it out).

I could put that stuff in on Friday and wear it through the weekend, even if I lightly washed it.

I've turned my back on oil based product, though. Now I'm a big fan of Layrite Pomade - here is their Super Hold product, I suggest giving it a try.
