I bought the Levenger L-Tech 3.0 in the past and it was a pretty good investment. Got a ton of complements during meetings and it was pretty much unbreakable. Only problem was that it was fairly heavy and expensive. I enjoy heavy pens but I couldn't write more than 20 minutes continuous with this one... It served very well during meetings, notes, etc. Other than that, I have a huge love for the Pentel EnerGel Deluxe cheap and very very reliable. Only downfall is that it does not look sleek but that's a first world problem.

I love the TUL pens! I’m in the same boat as you and bought every needle point pen I could find this week. So far the Pilot V5 is still a tried and true classic, but I really like Pentel Energels slick writing feel. I know you were looking for a better suggestion than “go to Walmart” so I hope someone else chimes in here. Oh but don’t get the Pentel .3mm - it writes very scratchy.
I use Lego branded gel pens, these Sharpies, these Sharpies too, Pentel Energel, Kikkerland pens, Paperchase pens, and lastly these Sakura fineliners.
I ended up switching to these pens The ink dries the second it’s put down on paper and i rarely have any smudging, but my god there’s something so special about Pilot pens that it hurt to give up.
