I spelled it wrong it's Perler Beads. /r/beadsprites has many more patterns and ideas. I work with small children sometimes and know the joy&stress that comes with teaching fine motor skills. Cutting shapes/paper, coloring or games like Jenga and Operation may help too.

Amazon is great, also IKEA has some things.
If you're just starting, I'd recommend this kit and these pegboards if you want to freehand some stuff or use a design. You'll also need something to heat it with if you don't already, an iron works well.

Sorry about that, I assumed it did from the picture. Usually those big tubs do come with them. This one for sure has them. There are even disney, and marvel themed kits, but they obviously cost more.
