I've got a pretty fun set up in my Sunroom

Lights: some basic string lights, and a couple Ikea MAGNARP lamps plugged into some iHome Smart Plugs, along with Hue Full color bulbs in the ceiling with a Hue Dimmer Switch

The dimmer switch can not control anything but Phillips Hue bulbs but I wanted to use it to set a scene that turned on the string lights and lamps so I set the second press of the dimmer switch to turn the hue lights to a 1% brightness.
From within the Elgato Eve App I set an automation triggered by the Hue lights being set to 1% that turns the lamps and string lights on.

Fans:

It can get pretty hot in the sunroom in the summer with a lot of activity from booth the people and the cat in the house. So I set up a system with Eve Room Sensor, Eve Door Sensor (used on windows) and iHome Smart Plugs to automate 2 fans set up in windows on opposite sides of the room. The Room sensor tracks the air quality and if it is low the fans will kick on, as long as the windows are open, (tracked by door sensor)
when the quality is good again, the fans turn off automatically, and they don't turn on while the string lights are on, since they are kinda loud.

Unfortunately our AC unit has a NEMA 6-15P plug so its not compatible with HomeKit.

Whatever stock Amazon had of the White & Color Ambiance A19 Gen 3 bulb was already obliterated in less than 24 hours of it going live. So unless they get more before the 17th, if you were looking to get these the only options now are through 3rd party sellers or warehouse refurbs [[ EDIT: actually Amazon now doesn't even show those, it simply states currently unavailable with no other seller options ]]

Could this mean even though the offer for this particular item is already effectively over despite the promotion running to the 17th? Guess we'll have to see..

EDIT 2: Showing back in stock again >>> https://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B01KJYSOHM/55467-20/ref=gb1h_img_m-3_3342_169dd9fc?smid=A3DWYIK6Y9EEQB&pf_rd_m=A3DWYIK6Y9EEQB&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_s=merchandised-search-3

Thank you! I snagged 2!

What's the difference between this and the other one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01KJYSOHM/

All the lights used a part of a Philips Hue system. There is a bulb in the lamp, two bloom lights for the wall, and a Hue Lightstrip inside the PC. They are controllable from my phone/pc. They are RGB, and the Hue system allows for some pretty fun colors!

Do you recall how many lumens?

EDIT: Nm. Found them. They're rated at the same lumens (800). I might buy one and try them side by side.

So I'm looking at the following:

Philips Hue A19 3rd gen x 14

Philips Hue GU10 2nd gen x 9

Seems a bit pricey - but are they worth it? What about the TP-Link bulbs?

As for the Sonos, I do have a bridge, does the Echo/Home not control the speakers via the bridge? You're post makes me think they're hard wired? Not via some "auth" connection to my bridge by being on the same network, i.e. Sonos App type control

For the main living areas (living room and dining room) I bought Philips Hue lights, with their 4 mode "puck" switch. Those are the products I purchased:

https://www.amazon.com/Philips-432690-Equivalent-Single-Light/dp/B00HNLQQ7K/
https://www.amazon.com/Philips-452532-Hue-Tap-Switch/dp/B00ME9CD28/

Here's how I configured my tap switch:

Mode 1: Everything is on, full brightness (but warm light)
Mode 2: Sunset mode, orange/reddish
Mode 3: Romance mode (think red light district)
Mode 4: Everything off

In her bedroom the main light is a warm white, but after 6pm we have two Ikea lamps with light bulbs from https://www.lowbluelights.com (which I received from a friend a while ago). I'm about to switch the bathroom light as well with the 2nd Hue light I linked to above, because now that the sun sets earlier in the day, I want her bath time to also be lit in sunset mode.
