  1. I feel good about how dedicated I am to things I believe in. I am loyal to my friends and family, I worked my butt off in school, and I will work my butt off at my new job. I don't quit or give up on things easily.
  2. Seeing the results of my hard work motivates me. I look at all the things I've accomplished at 23 years, and it helps me realize that even when it totally sucked, the sacrifices I've made and the effort I've put in to reaching my goals really does pay off. Knowing that makes me want to work even harder and push myself to accomplish even more.
  3. Here's an unconventional fitness tip-- eat less meat. I became a vegetarian six years ago, and the benefits have been awesome. I eat fewer calories, I eat more fruits, vegetables, and whole grains, and I've tried foods I would have never even considered eating during my meat-eating days. Plus, meat is expensive, so it saves me $$. The whole idea of not getting enough protein is bogus-- there are plenty of foods other than meat that are packed with proteins, it just takes a little planning. Also, it makes avoiding fast food a whole lot easier. Even if you just try giving meat up 1-2 nights a week, I'm sure you'd notice a difference.

I would love this, from my $20 and under WL. A good pen to write things is important, folks!

Also, that Five Below store is awesome. It's one of the few classy-ish dollar stores out there.

I almost always use some sort of fountain pen. They make me feel fancy. Also, these are the best things ever invented.

I have messy handwriting AND I like to write very very small. When I was in college I quickly realized that it was easiest for me to write quickly and legibly in small caps, so that's what I do now. It's very neat and tidy, other people can read my tiny writing, and I can do it about as quickly as cursive.

Edit:

I also ONLY write with fountain pens now. I press down very hard otherwise, which hurts my hand and makes my writing worse. Varsity sells disposable fountain pens for about $5, and I buy them at Hobby Lobby with 40% off coupons every once in a while. Having a pen that doesn't require pressure helped immensely with the speed and flow of my writing.

You can get them for $3.25 with free shipping on Amazon.
