My unit actually spoils us on pens.

We stock cheap Bic ballpoints as "counter pens" (so you can offer them to visitors or have a cup of them on your reception desk or whatever), but the staff get nicer ones for their own usage. I've developed a personal preference for these dudes, although I understand we get them for significantly cheaper.

They'll forgive you when you tell them the shirt is actually made of 65% post-consumer recycled material, so you are doing your part.

Many years ago, I received these free pens; marketing giveaways made of old recycled water bottles and they were dyed this crystal oceanic blue. Click tops, sturdry, wrote well. But I told a co-worker, it's bizarre to be writing with something that many people put their lips on. We laughed about how many bottles it would take to make one pen. I'm sure all the bacteria shit was killed in the re-processing of the product. But still, what about the people who chew on pens? The mouth-to-plastic ratio in this scenario is too high either way. Here is what they looked like

I didn't expect to be sending you pictures of pens and talking about trash islands. Fun stuff. Hey, that reminds me - remember that writing utensil website, pen island .com? No, it was .net actually, just verified. - important distinction.
