By the time you buy a couple of refills that may or may not work - (notice how high the pinch is on your refill before you buy a replacement) - you might be better served by buying a pen that there is no problem in buying a refill in different tip sizes and colors with excellent writing ability - I suggest you try out a low-cost Jetstream or pilot G2 to see if you like them. Both have hybrid ink and the G2 may be the best selling/writing pen in the USA. I do, however, prefer the Jetstream.
