/uj two words: styptic pencil. There's some nasty aluminum compound in these things that stops bleeding and seals shaving cuts instantly.
It looks similar to the styptic pencil I use to close shaving cuts. It stops the bleeding instantly. I always assumed that it's bad to use on regular (larger) wounds or else it would be a more popular product. It was really cheap too so it has to be a health thing.

It's a dollar a piece and mine is still almost as long as it was when I first bought it even though I used it a lot.
