The plantronics Rig, I don't personally have it anymore because I went to the astro A40's because they have deeper cups and I have gauges so they feel nicer, but I would honestly compare these to the A40's as being very very similar. I actually like the volume controller better than the Mix Amp for the Astros, has lots of cool features and it lets you play music from your MP3 player rather than having to use iTunes or something where you have to alt-tab to swap music. They're very comfy too but like I said I have gauges so after awhile my ears got sore. Also I would say the mic is a lot better than the A40's mic but that's personal preference I guess. Plus it's waaaay cheaper than the A40. They also can be used as regular over the ear headphones too and they look nice like that!! All around very very good. Highly recommend it.
(Also they're compatible with every console along side PC of course)
