If money isn't tight, I'd recommend these, you're not suppose to stop flossing with a water flosser. Water flossing doesn't scrape off gunk like floss does. But those get my flossing time down to pre-braces, so it isn't even a hassle anymore. Threading them took me way too long for it to be practical.
Buy floss sticks like this. I can floss in about a minute using those with braces.
