I love this book by Sali Hughes 😍
It has the basics as well as general beauty advice like how much to tip your hairdresser & where to start with eyebrows 😁

Also, Avon take returns! They're stuff isn't the best but for experimentation it's great! You could try, say, all the different types of foundations (like cream-to-powder or liquid) see what you like & then send it all back 😈

Edit: forgot my reccs!

Foundation: L'Oréal infallible porcelain (best pale foundation ever!) with an Avon beauty blender.

Concealer: Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer (it's liquid & great for under eyes but if you need coverage elsewhere use cream concealer)

Eyeshadow: Makeup Revolution palettes

Blush: MUA single powder blush (amazing pigment & £1)

Powder: Collection loose powder

Brows: Sleek Brow Stylist

Mascara: the cheapest!!! Cheap mascara is life 😆

I found that most sheet masks don't work for me, but cream wipe off ones do!

I used to be a hard core AB routine kinda gal, but after two years of a solid routine and experimentation, I honestly don't think essences do much or toners. After reading Pretty Honest, where she states flat out that toner are 'nice' but not even necessary, I'm in agreement with her.

I've also really cut back on products and my skin has been way happier.
