Zero Calorie Nutrient Enhanced Water Beverage Mix
The ultimate hangover cure is to mix one packet of these with two packets of these in a giant cup of water. It tastes delicious and fizzy and your hangover is gone so quickly. I always bring these to burning man for that exact reason.
edit: Obviously it is better to drink water the night before but if not try this.
Yep liquid calories. Alcohol is the worst. Someone once told me, while chugging an entire quart of orange juice, from the container, that it "has no calories." Bring your own mixes, I like Propel Zero
I suffered from this every single time I tried Keto, until I asked (just like you are now). It was indeed electrolytes. With the electrolytes out of whack I was getting the worst migraines.
I started doing keto chow which helped no end. Now that I've got a hang of watching what I put into my body, I don't have to just eat keto chow.
The main thing is to make sure you are not getting too much, or too little, in the way of electrolytes. FDA states that you shouldn't have more than 2300 mg of sodium (salt) a day. The reason you feel awful is that your blood pressure is probably all over the place right now - that's one of the sodium tasks.
On days where I don't drink keto chow, I drink propel water, and I also use the propel drinks in water (that way I drink enough, and I get my electrolytes). HERE is a link on amazon. I can't find this stuff anywhere else.

Club Soda.
Good luck.
>Usually I down a tablespoon of Lite Salt with water every day.
I would encourage you to seek fun alternatives, maybe even tasty ones. You aren't a recipe for measurements of X and Y to be dropped into. That's the kind of stuff that will wear on you in the long run.
I can tell when I need electrolytes because my fingertips start to go numb 15 minutes into a run. It happens like clockwork until that balance is replenished.
