I have this and it's glorious. Not exactly cheap, but no cables to worry about, the controller port doesn't get damaged over time, and you don't have to walk over to the TV.

Just in case you were ever interested, buying this charging station was the best thing ever. When I'm done playing, I just set the controller back on the charger and when I'm ready to play I have a fully charged controller. I highly, highly recommend this charger, but 40 bucks is kind of deep. It was on sale for 25 at Christmas and I'd recommend buying it at that price.

There are other brands but here is a headstart.
No, it is for the most part not present. The game doesn't have auto aim in it, however blind firing will occasionally do so if a enemy is close enough, but not all the time. Other games I can't speak for as I don't which shooters you're specifically wanting to play.

I'm not entirely sure, but if you use the Remote Play option with a PSP the system goes into some sort of sleep mode that might allow you to charge your controllers.

Yea, lots of options. Also If your battery ever does die buy this It has i believe double the capacity of the stock battery. Very easy to replace just look up a tutorial on youtube.
