I've used a toilet pumice stick in the past.I had some really bad stains and with a little elbow grease this is the only product that worked for me

This is basically the same as the scouring stick, only it has a handle. No need for the gloves. $3 at my local grocery store, $10 on Amazon is pretty expensive.

My Mom recommended a Pumie for our new house. It did wonders on the toilet bowl staining!

Bleach

If that is some kind of mineral stain that won't come off with scrubbing try a pumice stone made for cleaning toilet bowls.

I used a pumice stone and CLR to remove the ring on my toilet bowl.
