This serum has been working great for my acne scars and frown lines, or if you don't trust it, just straight up Vitamin E oil is good for my skin as well. I also use the Biore Aqua Riche sunscreen which is perfect for my oily skin. I also found this toner to work much better with my skin than the Kate Somerville one. I now only use the KS one when I have a breakout.

I just clean my face at night with ceraVe foaming cleaner and then apply the vitamin C serum to the face via the dropper they provide.
I've dealt with acne all of my life, trying different things, eventually got on Claravis, which really did the trick to eliminate the cystic acne, but I'm always getting white heads and some black heads on my nose still.
The above suggestion hopefully will be some help.

Acne scars question, my scars isn't that bad unless its on right angle and light it doesn't really noticeable. Mostly boxcar scar types.

All vendors selling a Vitamin C variation (like SAP, MAP, Tetrahex, etc) will recommend using a "blanket" low % of the active (somewhere b/w 0-3) to achieve "added antioxidant benefits". These recommended %s then change to 10% and above in order to yield skin lightening effects (what everyone is traditionally searching for with Vit C usage).
