I have twins. Daycare wouldn't be pragmatic for us. It would cost more than I was bringing in.

Because I'm not only staying at home but also nursing them I'm 100% responsible for nights. But my husband takes the mornings to let me sleep in. It works well for us.

When they were really little I would put them in bouncy seats on the bathroom floor while I showered. Now I shower during naps or after bedtime.

Unfortunately, we get a lot of take out for dinner. I plan on cooking and then time gets away from me. Other moms in my twin group do a big cook day every couple of weeks and then freeze meals. I wish I was that organized.

Getting out the door is an ordeal. I have to plan huge time buffers if I need to be at a particular place at a particular time.

Having two babies however is completely delightful. I love it when they make each other laugh. I got this walker because it's one of the few that allow for the babies to climb in and ride it as well a push/walk with it. They are always giving each other rides. It's the cutest thing ever. One of my daughter's first words was brother (bra-er) and they miss each other when they're apart. It's nice when planning activities, I don't have to worry about entertaining different age groups. They'll generally like the same things at the same times. They also have to learn to share from the get go. They're only 18 months but they are already awesome at taking turns and they understand "Please wait" and "You must be patient". It's hard as hell but I love having two babies at once.
