Holster ball attachment

I attached mine to the seat adjustment bar under my seat since I didn’t want to screw into to my dash. I used this bar clamp that way I can easily take it with me if I ever use a rental vehicle or something

Don’t wanna use a separate holster? Ram mount pistol clip

I don't cycle but I use Ram mounts to attach my phone to my scooter.

First, you're going to need the part that mounts to your bike. You could use the [U-Bracket] (https://www.amazon.com/Zinc-Coated-U-Bolt-Mounting-Base/dp/B0012TWRAO/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1469902329&sr=8-7&keywords=ram+mount) or if you don't want to permanently attach it to your bike, you could get a [Claw.] (https://www.amazon.com/Mounts-RAP-B-400U-Tough-Claw-Diameter-Rubber/dp/B00JQNRTDI/ref=sr_1_18?ie=UTF8&qid=1469902471&sr=8-18&keywords=ram+mount)

Next, you're going to need the [arm.] (https://www.amazon.com/Ram-Mount-Composite-Double-Socket/dp/B0074WMQLS/ref=sr_1_14?ie=UTF8&qid=1469902329&sr=8-14&keywords=ram+mount) They sell different sizes so you're going to have to determine which size suits you best.

And the last thing you're going to need is the X-Mount. I suggest the [Large X-Mount] (https://www.amazon.com/Ram-Mount-Universal-X-Grip-Phablet/dp/B00C7B2NV4/ref=sr_1_13?ie=UTF8&qid=1469902329&sr=8-13&keywords=ram+mount) for the LG G5.

I've tried a few.

I have ended up with the following for three bikes:

The last one attaches to your handlebars, the middle goes in the middle, and the "X-Claw" holds the phone.

I commute ~19 miles a day in an urban environment. I have hopped curbs with this setup successfully and Icebiked over rough uneven icy/snowy terrain.

It probably would not be good enough for single-track or similar.

It has an added benefit in that the design works for almost any smartphone.

The spring in the first one I bought three years ago got soft this summer so I bought the "X-Claw" part to replace it. (which is nice - you fix only the part that isn't working).

Its an awesome setup - I recommend it.

At first I only used this Cardo Scala G4 which installs into almost any helmet. Now I mainly use it just for music. The playback controls are super easy.

Very recently I added a Battery Tender cigarette adapter along with this Ram Handle Bar Base and my existing Ram X-Grip Mountwith a 1" socket arm. I just took it on a good 2 day ride and loved it completely.

So my setup is similar to /u/RocketGrouch but a bit more rudimentary. The over view is Ram mount, usb cable, battery tender pigtail to usb connector.

Ram mount parts I used: handlebar mount, connector bracket, phone holder.

I already had a battery tender setup, so figured using this was a no brain-er.

Then I used these cloth braided cables. Didn't know how much length I'd need, but the 6.5 feet was perfect for my use. Allowed me to tuck it around my tank, under my speedo housing shroud and discretely to the handle bars without slack that would risk getting caught.

Certainly not the prettiest solution out there, but I only use this set-up sparingly and store it in my rear bag.

I bought a RAM mount that clamps to the bar next to the Nav. I tend to use my handlebar location more because the phone covers the instruments some, especially with the windshield lowered all the way.

You'd need an Extension Arm (longer ones are available if necessary) and a Bar Mount.
