Not really denim, but I assume you guys will know the answer. So I want some black moc toe wedge oxfords, and I'm wondering if these Red Wings are worth the extra $20 over these Chipps. I'm planning on gettin' the Wings cause they're known for quality but I'm just wondering the main differences. Edit: ignore my first few words. I thought this was /r/rawdenim.
They aren't boots. They are Redwing Work Oxfords. The ones you linked are the Maize Abilene color.
How far into the future are we talking? And for roughout or would some red wing fullgrain leather qualify?
I have a pair of these and they have served me well. I tend to wear them around once a week, maybe more depending on the season. I think they look great. I've only had them for 10 months, however, so I can't speak more in terms of longevity.
