I use this, it only costs about $20 and it works well.
A bit of advice: on your first trim, leave the trimmer guard extended so the least possible hair is cut off. You can always take more off on a second pass, but the only way back from Seventh Grade is time.

I used to wax and shave (with a regular razor) my private area but for me it caused a lot of skin irritation but I like the smooth look so I tried a variety of products. I bought several groomers to test and I liked the one in the link best because it got the closest without causing me skin irritation. I have also purchased a tria laser and I currently use it in combination with the trimmer to remove the hair on my private regions and to limit its growth.
If you don't want to spend $65, I really like this one
I don't shave down to the skin, I just trim off the bulk of it and it'll be a little itchy for a couple hours, but after that I don't really notice it
