But i also have real NES controllers for it. I have the front loading toaster, too.

The NES Retro Entertainent System will only set you back $15 if you have Amazon Prime. The controllers are shitty, but it should be good enough to test the games.
Edit that price just skyrocketed

Here's a link to the same item in a different color that is now around $17.

How crazy would it have been for Nintendo to just release all of the VC games via an account-tied one-use-only full game access in the VC store. I think overall, it would have been the better choice.

I'm not an economist, but I think Nintendo's bigger concern is selling consoles than adding additional profits to their 20 billion dollar war chest. Because of that, I think they should set up Smash 4 as a way to entice people to buy a console and join in on the Wii U stage (by throwing in a bunch of free 20 year old games) than dishing them out as demos and hoping to entice people, who have an internet connection, to buy a game with real money hoping they don't know what an online emulator is or that they could just have an NES mailed to their home for less than $16 bucks. http://www.amazon.com/Retro-Nintendo-Entertainment-System-Silver-Black/dp/B003VH5Z2C/ref=pd_cp_vg_1

I just think the VC games should have been given away to new copies of the game. The timed demo program their currently instituting should have been the standard for the VC store to begin with.
