I have green eyes so purple and gray are my go to eyeshadow colors. I use this palette from Revlon often. It has a handy guide on the back of it.

  1. The lightest color in the upper left corner is your base which you apply from brow to lash.

  2. Next apply the shadow in the upper right corner to your lid. (lash to crease).

  3. The color in the lower left is applied to the outside corner of your lid and blended in with the second color.

  4. Lastly, the darkest color, lower right corner, goes in your crease. Open and close your eye to see where your crease occurs. And blend that one well!

    Here is a photo of the guide on the back. The only thing I do differently is apply the third color more on the lid, I'm not daring enough to go off into faceland yet! :D

    If purples are not your thing then I thing the shades of the color could be a guide to any color you do end up choosing. Hope that was a bit more helpful!

Does anyone know of a good quality dark purple eyeshadow preferably with a matte or satin finish, maybe in a single or duo? I got the revlon colorstay quad in seductive for the last two shades and it's pretty disappointing.

If you are looking for drugstore options I really like the revlon seductive eyeshadow quad but the pastel purple will only stay with a primer on for me (wnw fergie take on the day) but it's my go to purple eyeshadow!

I've also heard good things about the hard candy eyeshadows and I've been considering that elf 10 color baked eyeshadow pallete that has a bunch of purples, sorry I dont know the names :(
