While that's a touch over the top, these really do work, no matter what method you find for cutting the onions up.

> they kind 'have everything' already

I bet they don't have onion goggles! Sorry I don't have any better ideas. Do they have anything made from animals that is wearing out that you could replace with a vegan item?

Yep.

I'm not sure how well those work. We have safety goggles at work for using certain chemicals, and one of my coworkers tried wearing them when he was cutting onions. He said they didn't really help at all.

Get him some onion goggles

I swear by my onion goggles.

>I have to convince my SO to cut them up, as we're both onion criers

My SO and I are also onion criers. It may sound crazy, but onion goggles work really awesome for us.

Have you seen these types of glasses? My mom has a pair (no clue what brand) and they work really well. None of the other tricks have worked for me. I think onions might even be worse right now:(

Only temporary as your eyes get used to the world without a shield. Onions still suck, but that's what these are for.

Onion goggles, because you want to look cool, and want to hurry up? Lol

> Sawdust is flying everywhere where it usually finds some way to get in my eye

onion goggles

All your other problems simply require practice... and a headband, maybe.

I am semi-embarrassed to admit that I actually own a pair of onion goggles. As in these things. For someone who couldn't chop onions because my eyes swell shut rather than just tear up, they're truly miraculous.

My GF would use this. Also there are things called "onion goggles". http://www.amazon.com/RSVP-International-Onion-Goggles-Black/dp/B0014SQU1A

Or you could just be a badass and sport these bad boys.

You just reminded me of a gadget a friend of mine has - Onion goggles (yes, these exist, and apparently work well)
