>Do you know if it is fast enough?
I don't, and I think there are better options.
One of the problems with going onto Reddit before I have my morning coffee is that my brain is only
havehalf awake. The music, phone, video part registered in my brain, but the 4k part didn't (probably because my old phone can't even come close to that). Either of these two Samsung's would be better. The cheaper one has faster advertised write speeds.http://smile.amazon.com/Samsung-Class-Adapter-MB-MG64DA-AM/dp/B00IVPU88U/ref=sr_1_6?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1418561765&sr=1-6&keywords=64gb+micro+sd

Actually the samsung pro series claims 90 MB/s read and 80 MB/s write.

Samsung's Pro line is very quick, quickest I know of Amazon
For a 128GB card these should be great, I have the 64 GB version linked here and have found it to be very quick Amazon
A very fast SD card would be the 64 GB Samsung Pro, if you can find it cheaper than Amazon is selling it right now (got mine for $60, don't know why it's $80+ now).

Not sure about SD performance on the tablet, but this should be faster than most cheaper SD cards.
Class 10 only means 10 MB/s which really isn't that fast. When I reboot my files take maybe 15 seconds to appear on my homescreen. I use a Samsung pro which claims 90 MB/s speeds.

This was my favourite card with my 3+ Black. Now I upgraded to the [ Samsung Pro micro sd] (http://amzn.com/B00IVPU88U) which should work great with 4k in the hero 4 black!
Or you could get the Samsung 32GB PRO

Ooh...that's a great price. I do see faster Micro SD cards on sale, though. How noticeable are the differences between this and more expensive ones? I need to add storage space to my 128GB Surface Pro.
Edit here - I found more information on /r/surface where the subject's been discussed a few times:
http://www.reddit.com/r/Surface/comments/1retz0/micro_sd_guide/
http://www.reddit.com/r/Surface/comments/18c8l8/pro_owners_tell_me_about_the_micro_sd_card_slot/ (someone posted a benchmark test in this one comparing their micro SD to the built-in SSD)
so I guess I'll go ahead and grab this while I can! But it's odd that the full price is the same as what seems to be the faster version of the same size...
I think SanDisk microSD cards just don't work well with the SP3. I had the 64gb ultra and same thing was happening to me. I bought the Samsung and I've had no problems. The exact model I'm using is:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00IVPU88U/ref=oh_details_o04_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I'd recommend you give Samsung a try.
Edit: Here is the model SanDisk I was using that gave me the same problems as you:

Like the other guy said I don't think it matters but do buy from good brand names. There are fakes that hold less than the mentioned capacity.
This is the one I bought for my new Pokemon bundle.
Oh sorry about that. here's the right one: http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-Electronics-Adapter-MB-MG64DA-AM/dp/B00IVPU88U/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1413085129&sr=8-1&keywords=samsung+64gb+pro
But it says there's an issue with the shipping method. I got mine a month ago and it has been working perfectly. You might want to consider other retailers.
I personally went with the Samsung Electronics 64GB PRO Micro SDXC for my new Note 4. Was probably a bit overkill, but I like it. There's also an Evo available as well.

This is the card. Did not reformat, but it comes in exFat.
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00IVPU88U/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 has worked very well for me.
Ah, I went for velocity instead of mass, but I'm using it in a RPi.
You're referencing the D5833, which is the asian market version. This model is a D5803. You're going to want a D5803 for full LTE compatibility in the US. The US version bottoms out at $510, at best. Since there is still a wait list, they bounce between $510 and $600 based on availability. Also, even if I ditch all the accessories, the two-year warranty can only be purchased from Sony direct.
If you get a lower quality, non-brand microSD card, then sure I suppose. Here is the card that this phone comes with (it's dropped $4.95 since my purchase...) -- http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00IVPU88U/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
That about sums it up of what I've read and watched about Z3. I use the Samsung Pro 64gb SD card with 90 read and 80 write speeds. Its pretty fast. But having more internal memory will help with installing bug file apps and games.
I use a 64gb Samsung Pro on my rooted gpe/dev edition. I don't do anything that would warrant the extra speed, it was just an impulse buy. It plays and writes fine.
Get a "lagdroid" with a microSD slot.

This is the one I use Samsung Pro:

And these are other brands at similar speeds.

That being said 1080@30 isn't that crazy in bitrate. Are you using protune? It could very well be a dud card because 1080@30 should be well within the range of the card you linked
This one.
The card you linked is a full size SD card. The 3+ black can only use a micro SD. The micro SD version of that card is $59.99: http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-Class-Adapter-MB-MG64DA-AM/dp/B00IVPU88U
If the micro SD version was only $35.99 then it would definitely be worth it!
You won't regret the transition! My mom was a die hard ios user due to its simplicity but the moment she began to use android she stuck due to the range of customizable actions. I heard that having a transfer rate of 48mbs is already enough but I ordered the 32gb version of this one ;)

I transfer lots of files since I usually end up with a custom rom and download movies and music on my phone. Having the ability to have 2 browsers open, one with youtube and the other with youtube downloader simultaneously really makes it a breeze downloading music haha.
Or get this one: http://amzn.com/B00IVPU88U
I have a 64GB Samsung Pro

I do plan to get a Micro SD card. I'm planning on buying this one because of the faster read/write speeds.
I got a decent amount of responses when I cross-posted this thread, look here.
This thread told me for sure that USB-OTG is possible with a USB 2.0 to Ethernet adapter. However, USB 3.0 to Ethernet seems like it isn't possible at the moment. So while you can connect, you'll need an adapter from MicroUSB to USB, like this one, and then you'll need a USB to Ethernet adapter, such as this popular one.
My only concern about it is speed - I'm hazy on the max speeds you would receive via this method.
