Speaking of dash cam, I highly recommend this one! I've had it two years now and it works great, hot summer days and blistering cold winters. The quality is 1080p, front AND back at 30fps. But don't skimp on the memory card. I got this beauty and haven't had a complaint since my last card, which was cheaper, went out on it. The only issue is it will hold 10 hours of footage. But you see everything in these recordings!

u/Stormcrow426 · 7 pointsr/NintendoSwitch

Do they even say? All I see is "write speed is lower" compared to the 100 transfer speed. At least the Switch one I can find an actual write speed listed at 90 while transfer speed is 100.

My guess is most if not all people wont notice a difference.

EDIT: Is this the unbranded version? https://www.amazon.com/SanDisk-Extreme-microSDXC-Memory-Adapter/dp/B07FCMKK5X/ref=dp_ob_title_ce

First off, read my info here against utilizing a flash drive for maintaining your softmod. You do NOT want your only NAND backup on that thing if it fails.

Besides this, my best recommendations are:

  1. Use a portable SSD over a traditional portable HDD.
  2. A great portable SSD that I would recommend is this one. It's a medium-sized 256GB SSD that's around $45. If you're interested, their page also hosts a 1TB drive for $119 but that's completely up to you.

The reasons I'm recommending a mid-triple digit megabit transfer rates are not for your Wii or even future Wii U system, it's for backup ability and higher transfer speeds to copy from a PC, or other device with extreme ease.

My next recommendation is a C10 ultra speed SD card averaging in at 128GB. With a micro to standard SD card adaptor, you can even use a mobile device to begin softmodding your Wii via Letterbomb. Check it out here

The reasoning for such an unnecessary amount of space for your SD is for the predictable inability to utilize the GameCube's Nintendont software. Pretty common to have this fail in various areas.

Software recommendations: Wii Backup Manager (x86/x64). This will be helpful for back and forth compatibility between your pc (if you have one), and your Wii. Without it in front of me, I can't remember the GameCube iso prep tool for expanding and shrinking isos, but if you're interested in that I'll pull that data from my old external for you to utilize (of course if you decide to play GC games).

Hardware recommendations: simply get a GameCube controller. Though it's hard to spot an official GC controller on Amazon for a decent price, it's worth searching.

I've had my Wii modded for almost 6 - 7 years and have played it forever. Before that, I had another Wii that I had modded for 3 years. I've never had more fun until my Wii U came in the mail a few days ago.

    Hope this helps! ✌️

Get the Sandisk Extreme! Literally the only card I’ve ever needed and never failed on me.

Will I notice much difference between these two cards:

Sandisk Extreme A2 - 128gb, This one is on the list

This one is not on the list, but has worked okay in my gopro hero 6

Thank you for any advice

Make sure you're using an SD Card that is on their list of approved models. I was having trouble with my H7B freezing, not turning on, and difficulty transferring media, but I had a very high quality SD card so I didn't think that was the issue. Finally dropped some money on a card that was on their list, and now my camera works perfectly. This is the one I got. For $25 bucks it's a pretty cheap way to figure out if that's your problem.

My AT&T S9 was upgraded to Androrid Pie two weeks ago. Last week I was on a business trip and took over 500 images while away. Out all of those images, these four were randomly mixed throughout. They are at different times, and even different orientations, but all the exact same file size, so I know there is no chance of recovery. Has anyone seen anything like this before? Since upgrading to Pie I feel like the camera is very laggy, I often would push the shutter button several times until it seemed like it would actually take the picture. I also recall once where I took a picture from the lock screen and it showed the preview in the little circle, but when I tapped it to bring it up full size, it gave me a Toast notification that said something about no pictures have been taken, even though I could see the thumbnail. When I went to the gallery, it was not there, not even a green image in its place. Could this be a bug with the Android Pie update, or an issue with my recently purchased SD card?

I mistakenly wrote the post as 256GB, actually bought 128GB. I still think it is a good deal.

Still showing up as 19.99 for me. Deal of the day.

This is the one I have for the RP1

Whichever one you get, make sure it's an A1 or A2 if you want to run it as an internal. I had a few Samsung 64GB ones floating around and the all gave me the same "Too slow" error when I tried to format it as internal.

I don't think so. The red switch branded version is a U3 rated microsd card so it's probably more akin to the Sandisk 128GB Extreme, just without the A2 cert

This switch branded version also has a lifetime warranty (similar to the Sandisk Extreme)

I recently found my old PSP 2001 and am running the latest CFW.

I'm using this exact adapter:
https://www.amazon.com/Funturbo-MagicGate-Playstation-Portable-Handycam/dp/B07F68FCHD/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1549954935&sr=8-1-spons&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_QL65&keywords=sony+memory+stick+pro+duo+to+micro+sd&psc=1

Along with a 128GB SanDisk Extreme:
https://www.amazon.com/SanDisk-128GB-Extreme-microSD-Adapter/dp/B07FCMKK5X/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1549955208&sr=8-3&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_QL65&keywords=SanDisk+128gb&dpPl=1&dpID=41Ob2mex0pL&ref=plSrch

Both have been working flawlessly for me with about 50GBs of ISOs so far and a handful of PSX games.

The only way I transfer data to it is direct. Power off the PSP completely -> remove adapter -> pull card -> insert in decent quality microSD card reader.

MiniUSB works but it's SO SLOW. About 5MBps versus 35MBps.

Buy a microsd... I personally suggest the SanDisk Ultra 128gb microsd that is $20 (I own 5 x 128gb and 1 x 400gb, all are solid and I have never had any issues).

Although I've seen from reviews that for $30 the SanDisk Extreme U3 A2 and Samsung EVO Plus U3 which are a newer versions are faster.

SanDisk extreme 128gb micro SD works great and it's only $28 with Amazon Prime. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07FCMKK5X/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_6NACCb5XKD9NB

Is it a regular SanDisk micro SD card? If so you should consider a faster card like the SanDisk Extreme:

"4K UHD Ready

With UHS Speed Class 3 (U3) and Video Speed Class 30 (V30) ratings (3), the SanDisk Extreme microSDXC UHS-3 Card lets you capture uninterrupted 4K UHD and Full HD video (4). This makes it ideal for recording outdoor adventures, weekend trips, or sporting events without skipping frames."

I'm assuming your card is UHS Speed Class 1 (U1) and Video Speed Class 10 (V10), which are the lower levels common on garden variety SanDisk cards. Here's the type I'm talking about on Amazon:

Sandisk SD cards are pretty good every time I’ve upgraded it’s just been with a Sandisk and so far they have done me well

Edit: this is the one I had before I upgraded. Had it for over a year with no problems

This (and a small socket wrench) was literally all I needed:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07PVB5L82/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00

It has adapters for most dashcams, and the included wire is thin and long enough to tuck above the windshield and down the left pillar, away from the airbags, then towards the door.

If you open your driver door and look at the side of the dash, you'll see the cover you need to pop off. Use the little spudger that comes with the kit, and it comes right off (pops back in easily later).

Take out the small drawer next to the steering wheel by opening it, squeezing the sides, then pulling. Voila, fusebox. Thread the wire through the opening in the side and into the fusebox area.

There is a yellow 20amp fuse that is linked to the 12v accessories (cigarette lighter, etc). I pulled this one out, plugged in the piggyback fuse from the kit, and put the yellow fuse into the piggyback (the kit comes with instructions on this).

In this pic, it's the yellow 20amp fuse in the lower right:

https://cdn.instructables.com/F2N/7LVH/IHP9001J/F2N7LVHIHP9001J.LARGE.jpg

Ater doing the piggback, you just need to connect the ground. There are some hex bolts nearby, just unscrew one and attach the ground cable, then tie up the rest of the wire and tuck it away. Pop the cover back on, and you are good!

Another tip, you might want to get a heat-resistant memory card if you live somewhere warm. I got one like this: https://www.amazon.com/SanDisk-128GB-Extreme-microSD-Adapter/dp/B07FCMKK5X/

u/FearlessHS · 1 pointr/techsupport

I don't plan on using it in any devices other than my phone. I'll be downloading a lot of games, movies, and apps. Apps and games don't always like being moved to SD cards.

This is the microSD card I'm looking to get. It seems to be a great card from what I can see. Not the best speed wise, but pretty darn good: https://www.amazon.com/SanDisk-128GB-Extreme-microSD-Adapter/dp/B07FCMKK5X/ref=mp_s_a_1_5?keywords=128gb+micro+sd+card&qid=1562706167&s=gateway&sprefix=128&sr=8-5

Hi there,

Is the 128gb Sandisk Extreme memory card supported by the H7B? I've had a look and only the 32GB and 64GB are detailed on the gopro website.

Cheers
