A quick search shows Amazon has a good selection: https://smile.amazon.com/SanDisk-Extreme-microSDXC-Memory-Adapter/dp/B06XYP4BR5/

Of course, as with any SD card, I'd only buy from official stores -- Amazon, not eBay. Lots of fakes out there.

Yep it needs the micro sd cards. The good news is you can use an adapter and use the tiny cards in devices that need the larger one. Those are the cards I use, pretty much the best ones your money can buy and you KNOW your cards will work for years to come and on nearly any device. It is a bit of overkill for the bitrate that the gopro hero 6 records at but honestly I'd rather be more futureproof than to get a device in 2-3 years that needs new cards because the ones I have can't write fast enough.

You don't necessarily NEED final cut pro... but if you already have it then heck yeah. You can do the basic cuts and edits in something as simple as imovie but FCPX gives you a lot more flexibility with things like color grading and transitions which I find very helpful. Especially when you're matching up shots between different devices, I'm super picky about that sorta thing and even my home videos look as professional as possible. Just let me know if you have any more questions and I'll be happy to help or make recommendations, I've been doing this exact setup for years so I've had lots of trial and error haha

I mean, you can use a microSD, but like others have said, that's another point for something to go wrong, and I actually have had that happen.

I think you have to be careful comparing the two cards for pricing too. Of course you can get a microSD card that is cheaper than an SD card, but it also works the other way around. If you get the same kind of card from a reputable brand, then I've found the SD card is actually cheaper than the microSD. For example, my main SD card is a SanDisk Extreme Pro which currently costs $22.30 for the 64GB version. The microSD version of that card costs $26.50.

So maybe you're comparing different types of cards with different write speeds.

I use this for my Mavic 2 pro. It has no problem writing 4K 30fps

Did you buy the fly more package or just get the basic set up? I got the fly more option so I could have the extra batteries and the multicharger. The carrying bag it came with is nice, I recommend the flymore package if you haven't bought it! And also depending on what type of micro sd card you have you might have to buy a higher quality one to shoot in 4k.

I bought 2 of those and they work great!
And on a side note have you ever flown a drone before?
