No, but selling it for more than the amazon brand new price, for a worse card. Even worse. I'd say 200 is maybe acceptable.

Sapphire Nitro+ on Amazon.fr for 200 Eur, not sure how much shipping and conversion etc etc costs turn out to be, but should be cheaper, plus a better card
However you do not get games buying from there.

Every single modern GPU is compatible with your motherboard. You should only worry about its length to fit your case.

Sapphire Radeon RX 580 8gb Nitro
At the £200 pricepoint, you'll be choosing between the GTX 1060 3GB or the RX 570 4GB. (10603GB will be faster today, but RX5704GB will age a little better)
However, for the sake of futureproofing, I highly recommend you up your budget to ~£265 and get the GTX 1060 6GB variant (or the RX 580).
If you don't need the games, Amazon FR is selling RX580 Nitro+ for 202€, may be worth a try depending of the shipping cost.

I've bought this graphics card and this motherboard, but the graphics card covers my SATA ports. Have i bought the wrong graphics card, or do I need to dismantle the whole thing and put the graphics card in the other PCI(?) slot (which looks like it will cover some other stuff...
Am I missing something obvious?
Die alte Graka ist nur ca. 14cm lang.
17,4cm GTX Mini
43cm RX 580
Bei einem neuen Case habe ich bedenken ob die Kabel lang genug sind.
Bei so nem Fertig-PC von HP wird jeder mm Kupfer berechnet worden sein.
[The nitro+ is also on sale] (https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B071Y7CKM2/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_J5O7BbR9WEE9T). It's slightly more money but still a great price for that card
Thanks for your reply!
Would the Radeon RX 580 be somethinglike that?
I'm also not very good with monitors... Which monitor would work with that that would the freesync?
I usually uses sites like mydealz.de, its a site where users from all over Germany (well sometimes france too) can post deals on all kinds of stuff, there you can see where an item is on sale or heavily discounted.
The RX 570 and 580 cards have been on sale plenty of times in the last couple of weeks.
Example: https://www.amazon.fr/dp/B071Y7CKM2
there are other variants of the 580 for £10-30 more, you could also look at the brand new 1660 super for around 220.

I'm leaning towards the nitro, just depends on when they become available.
I'm not too sure I'll be able to fetch a good price for this 290, however.

It's a new seller, but it has prime expedition, so it should be shipped out by Amazon, but it's better ask at Amazon's customer service more info, before to buy it
Thanks for the heads up!
Can I ask what the difference is compared to this:

I feel like you shouldn't be paying more than £250 for a GTX 1060 6GB, especially when you can get an RX580 8GB for less than that.
Sure.

I am upgrading this summer and they are all in my price range, i have a Radeon R7 370 atm fyi.
thanks in advance.
I did some searching on the Italian Amazon site and found both an RX580 and RX590 for about €70 less than the 1660ti. Used from even less.
The reason I mention this is that while they are both a bit worse than the 1660ti they both do a solid job at outputting 1080p and newer consoles are likely to hit around 2020. https://www.reuters.com/article/us-gaming-e3-xbox/microsoft-unveils-next-gen-project-scarlett-xbox-console-to-release-in-2020-idUSKCN1TA0TD This would allow you to save some Euro's now and be more prepared to upgrade in the near future.
Possibly putting some more money in the Power Supply so that it can support 2000 series Nvidia cards (the

Obviously its up to you and I'm not privy to your finances or plans, but its something I would consider.

I think your build is definitely solid and my tendency to upgrade a bit more often at lower prices won't necessarily match your prefrences.
Here's the link to the Sapphire Nitro 8GB RX580 at £157 (£5 postage as well so £162 in total) https://smile.amazon.co.uk/Sapphire-11265-01-20G-Radeon-back plate-Graphics/dp/B071Y7CKM2
I would recommend this. it meets your budget and should feel like going from a ford fiesta to a Ferrari in terms of performance. in addition, I would also recommend getting another stick of ram, I added another 8 to my old system and the difference in both loading times and performance in intensive titles like escape from tarkov and Arma was definitely noticeable. hope this helped :)
TDP and power consumption for GPUs doesn't really matter for things outside of having to buy a more powerful PSU or if you're using a micro ATX case.
To put it into context, if you were to buy a 110W GTX 1060 6GB for £235 over a 235W RX 580 8GB for £196 and played games for 40 hours a week, with Northern Ireland electricity costing 18.9p/kWh it would take 50 weeks before you broke even on electricity costs. Obviously if you have a tiny PSU then it's a no brainer, but if you don't then it's not much of a concern.
The biggest gains for Nvidia with Turing are probably in the laptop GPU market where power consumption and TDP matter a lot more due to small form factor and the battery.
