Yes.

Don't buy it.

You will be sorely disappointed with the audio quality and overall build quality of it, good radios start at about $80, and you want reliable bluetooth.

I spent $100 on a Kenwood for my Honda and the bluetooth is fucking terrible, it takes ages to connect. I can safely say I have wasted multiple days of my life getting the god damned bluetooth to work. Otherwise, it sounds fantastic.

Best inexpensive radio brand? Pioneer. this guy is a fucking deal.

For a 99 Mustang, you also will need a handful of accessories to install it, including:

a Dash adapter kit (because the radio is a different size than stock)

and a wiring harness kit (This only works if you don't have premium or Mach audio)

The harness kit will make it easy to wire it up on your kitchen table, all of the wires are color coded to match the wiring harness the Pioneer radio will come with, once you crimp or solder your connections and heat string or electrical tape them, install will be as simple as "plug and play"

The issue you run into with cheap radios is poor advertising of wattage or power output. I promise that $30 radio doesn't put out 50w x 4. Probably more like 1/4 of that, this will make your music sound like total utter shit.

You'll want to use a ford stereo removal tool to pop the old unit out, but you shouldn't have any trouble finding adapters from the truck harness to whatever stereo you want to go with.

I myself have a 2017 Joying android head unit in my truck. I had to very slightly trim the bezel top and bottom around the stock opening to fit the double din size radio. I've also substantially modified my radio itself, adding some heatsinks, fans, and replacing the Chinese amp chip with genuine Pioneer. I hear the newer units are a bit better out of the box though. You can find a photo of this installed in my 2011 ranger on the amazon review for it at: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MTQUKK1/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1#customerReviews

you just need a deck, harness and dash kit, and upgraded speakers. and the tool to remove the factory deck.

Here's a guide.

You just need 4 new speakers.

If you intend to use the factory radio, or even just a cheap upgraded headhunt for smartphone connectivity at any point in the future, these JVC speakers will easily fit the bill, $27 for the pair and can handle a little bit more wattage than the factory radio. For ease of connectivity get yourself two sets of these speaker adapters too, cheap and keeps you from having to cut and crimp any wires in the doors.

If you want to modernize your truck a bit, Boss sells a decent bluetooth and USB enabled head unit that will let you connect your smart phone like any modern car, it won't tell you much on the head unit's screen but it will give you a more powerful amplifier than the Ford factory unit for all of $24.

If you end up doing an upgraded head unit, get yourself a wiring harness adapter, unless you are color blind any body can easily install a new radio with one of these and no hacking/cutting required.
