I did a little browsing and came up with this Accordion door mounted with this Heavy-duty double sided tape.

The DK2 mount works fine as a stop-gap. Although it doesn't line up perfectly it still sticks and I've been using it without issue.

You could also just use a piece of thick double-sided tape directly.

I used something like this

The difference is, I didn't screw it on. I used Double sided heavy duty mounting tape and it got the job done. No screws, no mess.

Just apply the hook to the wall and place your headphones neatly on it. It will come out looking really nice.

Btw, I have a pair of DT770s too

It's no problem at all. I like to think that I have a somewhat cynical view of dorm life at this point, which may help out an odd freshman or two to have a small degree better time.

Depending on what you're used to sleeping on, the mattresses are surprisingly comfortable, if a bit small. Probably way more trouble than it's worth to bring in a new mattress. The firmness is different on either side so that you can better adjust it to what you prefer. I don't recall whether or not they put those weird flame retardant body bags over the mattresses, but in any case you can just remove that and store it away on the top shelf until you move out. Just don't...smoke while you sleep? Is that even a problem? I always had trouble ensuring my mattress cover fit properly, which resulted in the unreasonably enraging issue of the corners coming off. I have no idea why that was such an issue for me, but there it is.

Oh, another thing popped into my head. Mounting Tape is awesome for putting up posters. Granted, it may damage the posters upon removal if you aren't careful. However, since you have access to a giant 36" x 108" color plotter printer for $10 a pop, ruining a few posters every year won't feel like such a loss. Wall tack stuff is weak. Ever have a poster fall on you in the middle of the night? I have. It was not fun. With this stuff, you could easily put a few posters on the ceiling. That's great, because you'll be sick of the painted concrete thing really fast. Just don't waste any money at the poster sales in the Union or bookstores.

Will do after work.

Buy this guy on amazon for $50: http://smile.amazon.com/Nexus-Wireless-Charger-Smartphones-Tablets/dp/B00GN1YKBU?sa-no-redirect=1

Buy the Heavy Duty 3m tape as an add-on with charger for $2.77:http://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00004Z4A8/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Stick tape on back side of charge and then on dash anywhere you'd like. Phone holds perfectly. Has NEVER slipped off without physical interaction (aka, I go to smack a hoe and hit the phone on accident).

No issues so far with movement. I used this tape. It shouldn't create any issues with the sensor pad since it's just stuck to the top of the pad itself.

I had the same thought about wanting concave but I especially wanted something for the front pad that wouldn't mess with the sensor.

Here are the files, both the STL for the file I'm using currently as well as the source file (openSCAD) so you can modify it if you want.

I've used 3M double sided foam mounting tape before to attach led strip lights and it worked great (link below).

3M Scotch 114/DC Heavy Duty Mounting Tape, 1 x 50-Inch https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00004Z4A8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_BAkEAbV5SVHYC

Amazon has a ton of options for led strip lights. You can get ones that are super bright too, which would be good for your parents. They are pretty versatile, fitting into weird spaces and such. They can be a pain to get all set up though. They make connectors for them, but they can be really finicky to get working just right. A better option is to solder the connections. They also have a bunch of options for power switches!

The ikea lights are a great option, but can be a little spendy for what your actually getting. Compared to some led strip lights I've used, ikea lights are not nearly as bright. Nice thing about then though is that it is pretty easy to install and get all set up.

Really sorry that I've only noticed your reply just now. Hopefully you've figured it all out, but if not, see below for the items I use:

Light Fixture: http://www.amazon.com/Lights-America-7020-Fluorescent-Light/dp/B00004WA4D

ReptiSun 10.0 24": http://www.amazon.com/Zoo-Med-ReptiSun%C2%AE-Fluorescent-24-Inch/dp/B0009YHSWK

3mm Mounting Tape: http://www.amazon.com/3M-Heavy-Mounting-1-Inch-50-Inch/dp/B00004Z4A8

Remove the plastic shroud and included bulb from the light fixture. Affix a full-length strip of the mounting tape along the back, and place the fixture inside the tank, centered and near the top. You'll have to snake its power cord through the tank's lid. Then pop in the ReptiSun bulb and switch it on. You're good to go, just be sure to replace the bulb roughly every 8-9 months.

I don't have many front-on images of my beardies' tanks, so here's an image of my crafty escape artist using his log and the light fixture to break out.

I used a strip of the thin foam double-sided tape, like this stuff.

I agree. They're still going strong with no signs of slowing down and they do sound amazing. I stupidly threw the standing mounts they come with away several years ago and have never been able to find replacements.

It's actually just this double sided adhesive that is keeping them in place. I was skeptical at how it would hold up but they've been up there about two months now and are very secure.

Edit: I'm sorry, I should have mentioned this before - If you're an audiophile you will notice a difference in how it sounds. It will be a little different then you are used to. I don't know really anything about audio but can only assume it's because the speakers are pointed over your head instead of more at your ears. For me it's not a problem and I think it still sounds okay. Depending on your monitor(s) you could probably attach the speakers to the sides vertically or bottoms horizontally and hardly notice a difference.

this worked great for me and was a little cheaper than the gorilla stuff:

Office supply store, they have these self-stick buttons. There are even different height versions available.

Another possibility is double-sided mounting tape, plus "furniture wedges"

u/mke5271 · 1 pointr/homelab

Well, the easiest (not most proper) way is to just get some good ol' double sided tape and stick them all together somewhere.

If you're looking for a more proper solution...
What kind of case is it? Are there any expansion slots such as blank 5.25" bays?

u/ThatAssholeMrWhite · 1 pointr/HomeImprovement

I think it's something like this. Not sure.

u/kftgr2 · 1 pointr/xboxone

I have a 1.5 inch strip of this on the inside of the battery cover. Doesn't mess up anything at all.

u/Dstanding · 1 pointr/pcmods

This shit right here. Or possibly a narrower one; dunno how wide you need it.
