I use these! They work way better for me than regular hair ties (I too get the weird sagging thing), and I notice that I can wear my hair down after using them because I don't get the usual hair-tie-dent-thing.
My Mom has super asian hair and she swears by those invisibobble hair ties? I personally hate them, but she really likes them for her hair type.
For me, I have super thick curly hair. When i say super thick, i mean super thick. I once lent my mom a hair tie--it was so stretched out she literally could've used it as a headband. What I found works best for me are the hair ties (I think they're Goody brand?) that are braided. I've had them last literally YEARS without breaking (using them 2-3x/week). I will not use normal hair ties anymore! I'm going to look on Amazon and try and come back and link the ones I mean.
Edit: they're NOT goody, they're scunci! Best hair ties ever. I swear by them.
