> However, compared with others, this HDD is not very old and was not used much.

I wonder what the OP considers to be old? Failure after 3+ years of usage isn't really that unusual. Most non enterprise class hard drives aren't warrantied for more than 3 years. This particular part number was first listed on Amazon 10 years ago and has been discontinued for many years now so it would be unusual find a drive that old that is still in use.

Just replace it ASAP if the data is important in any way to you.

Update parts list per your specifications:

Motherboard

RAM

case

HDD

G4400

That puts me right on budget. :)

> I'm glad that my only part in it now is leaving the random comment from time to time. Cheers!

Don't forget getting downvoted, that takes time and effort as well.

>I don't think it's worth my time, money, or PS space to stay subscribed.

Bad logic is bad. In terms of time, no one is forcing you to play the games you don't want to play. The cost of one year of full retail PSN+ is $49.99 (I wont even mention that most get them for $40 during sales). At that cost, that's less than $5 per month. You can't even go to the movies for $5 in any major city. If you were to impulse buy a single fountain soda one time per week for $1.25, you could subsidize your entire years PSN+ subscription, respectufully, you fcking moron.

In terms of space, for virtually pennies you can A) upgrade your harddrive to a 250GB or B) realize that you only need to have enough space for the games you are currently playing which for most people is 2-3 at a time.

So before you call anyone back asswards I would take a little look in the mirror as you make zero sense with your self-pat on the back posts.

And lastly, if you don't sub to PSN+, why are you trolling our sub reddit?
