Either manufacturers' drives should be fine. They both have the same warranty, too. Personally, I get WD drives since Seagate dropped their warranty from 5 years to 2, because they're often significantly cheaper. IMHO, CDW is overpriced. Here's the same drive for $159 shipped. Also, here's a USB 3.0 Seagate drive for $150 shipped. Don't feel compelled to buy a "Mac" hard drive. They're all the same and you just would be paying 10% - 15% more for a sticker.
TL;DR: Get whatever is cheapest. Also, "Mac" or regular external drive, they're all the same.

It is 7200rpm. It actually went on sale for 120 and i tore it up and tossed it inside my desktop
