Shouldn't be too hard, but you could also just buy it on a black leather band: http://www.amazon.com/Seiko-SNDC87P2-Leather-Synthetic-Analog/dp/B005HIREFE. It says "synthetic" in the title, but it's not. It's real leather (I have it and the band does feel a little plasticky, though).
So I bought this Seiko SNDC87P2 a while back and I really want to install a 'dome' crystal on it.
I was wondering if it's possible to install a dome crystal without the use of any special tools (a.k.a by hand)?
I don't want to my a crystal press as this would most likely be a one time thing/mod I'm doing.
One thing I've learned about Timex is that they can have an incredibly loud movement. My roommate has one and he keeps it in a box because if it is out on his desk it will keep him up at night. It keeps great time though! As far as white faced watches go, Victorinox has some really classy field watches that look great in NATO's, (I have this one in black) and Citizen has some larger ones with Ecco drive that also look great (I almost bought this one as a daily) Seiko is also an awesome brand, but only has a few white faced watches. Hopefully this helps! Just remember that you can always easily swap the band out on these.
