to install it my way you have to drill two holes though the tablet cover and the dock in upper corners. Then screw both to the wall.
Tablet holds in the cover very tight so no risk of falling off plus you can also remove the table if needed.

I brought HD 8 for my personal use. It is pretty powerful device for the price.
The Amazon apps are pretty limited. So I installed Google Play Store in it to install the Android apps I want. Instructions here .
Later, I see Amazon Alexa Showmode device and brought for the tablet. Now I'm using this to read news in the morning with Alexa and also as a weather/table clock.
When I want to watch YouTube or play Android game, I will take out from the dock and use as an Android tablet.
I don't see any Android device for this price with a decent CPU and RAM.

I don't know the answer to your question, but I would just point out an alternative if you hadn't considered it. A Fire tablet + a 'show dock' is basically an Echo Show, and the Xfinity Stream app is available for fire tablets.
