If you want portability you should check out the Silverstone SG05 and SG08. Pair it with a SUGO Pack(padded bag) and you have your computer, peripherals and wires all in a bag you can carry with one hand. I have built high end gaming rigs in both of these cases and they are fantastic.

Check out the SG05 here.

This is actually my college desktop, and I am living across the country from home. Making it this small allowed me to be able to fit it in a carry on bag, which is extremely useful for transporting it on the plane. I'm actually using this bag, which fits my keyboard, mouspad, mouse, headphones and pc. In term of airflow, my gpu only reaches about 70 degrees C when I overclock it and benchmark it, and as i'm not overclocking my cpu it only gets to about 70 degrees as well.

Ah. Well, that bag apparently only fits SSF cases so you will have to get a SSF PSU along with it. Meh, that sucks.

The GTX 970 has ridiculously low power consumptions, so yeah, 450W is more than enough for an i5 + GTX 970.

Thank you! That answered many of my questions.

I am trying to build a computer that can fit into this bag:
http://www.amazon.com/Silverstone-Tek-Carrying-Series-SUGO-PACK/dp/B001NPEBLA

The dimensions for a computer that it can hold are 11.4" by 18.89" by 9.05
I really like the handles on the prodigy, but the case is 15.91" x 9.80" x 14.09" and won't fit.

As far as the PSU goes, I would like to keep it modular, because cord management will be tight. Also, do you think 450 watts is enough for a 970x?

Thanks again

My brother-in-law picked one of these up at Dreamhack Austin last year, he loves it more linkage

I've traveled across the US with it via car in this bag and there was never any damage done to my build, I just left everything hooked up normally.
