Rave Skinfoood Brown Sugar Mask – I love this sub and I’ve really turned by face around but man, I really, really miss scrubbing my face with a scrub. More so now than ever with nonstop tret flakes on my nose, eyebrows, and chin. I tried a few samples of the mask and I loved it so I purchased. But, the horror! The first time I used it I scraped my face pretty badly and got a nice bright red, burning cheeks to show for it. So the scrub stayed in my closet, doomed to be forgotten.
A few months later, I saw someone mention that this was their favorite mask to use in the shower. That got me thinking that maybe putting it on mostly dry skin was a bad idea so I tried the shower trick. O.M.G. The softest, smoothest, baby butt skin! It’s amazing. I use it twice a week now and I absolutely love it. I’m not sure if it’s an HG but damn, it’s effective and it is soooooo satisfying.
This is how I use it – I put it on when I put on my conditioner (similar wait times), scrubbing the paste ever so softly into my problem areas. Then I scrub my arms, shave my legs, sing, have imaginary conversations, etc. After about 5 to 10 min I rinse it off with my hands, making sure all the sugar granules are gone. That’s it! After my face is mostly dry I start my routine. I don’t use acids when I use the scrub but I’m sure you can. Bonus Points - Can't beat that price point!

All the steps you're taking are in the right direction, but let's talk about product recommendations. You should start off with a basic skincare routine.
Cleanser: Cosrx Low Ph Morning Gel Cleanser - A good cult favorite, gentle cleanser.
Toner- Stri-dex Pads Maximum Strength - I have yet to find anything else that keeps my acne at bay as well as these do, holy grail status.

Additionally, what helps me is to exfoliate twice a week, and I use Skinfood Black Sugar Mask Wash Off Exfoliator.
I would suggest wearing sunscreen, though this step isn't specifically to help your acne, it's just good to protect the skin from premature aging and hyperpigmentation. Assuming you have combo to oily skin I would recommend Etude House Airy Finish Sun Milk.

Clay masks are definitely good for oily skin, but since you said you have combination skin, you might use clay masks for oily parts. Honestly, if you don't have any problem using clay masks no matter what your skin profile is, you're fine. I have dry skin and I use clay masks occasionally.
