The Whitestone Dome is the only tempered glass protector I've found that works worth a damn.

These are the best TPU wet install screen protectors I've tried. Better than the Spigen Neoflex by far.

I bought the g-color case-friendly version, and The sides did not stick well on that one. And my case peeled them up.

Just email their customer service line, send a pic and they'll refund you.

I ordered [these]
(https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B071RFGSBF/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s02?ie=UTF8&psc=1) and it works great! The instructions mentioned pushing the liquid out the sides, and then waiting about 15-20 minutes before trying to push down the sides. This worked great for me. Been going 3 weeks now with no peeling up.

I use the Supcase Unicorn Beetle.

I haven't had any good glass ones yet. But I love the one I have now

$42 seems a bit much for one screen protector, but from what I've seen, the Whitestone Dome is an excellent screen protector because the adhesive glues the entire panel, rather than just the sides.

Personally, I recommend any TPU screen protector. They tend to be a lot cheaper (like $3-8 on Amazon). A TPU protector is a rubbery layer that doesn't offer quite as much protection, but it gets the job done if you pair it with a case that has a lip.

I've been using this one from Amazon for about two and a half years which came in a two-pack, but I'm still on the first one: https://www.amazon.com/Protector-Friendly-Skinomi-Anti-Bubble-Application/dp/B071RFGSBF
and the case I use with it is the Spigen Tough Armor: https://www.amazon.com/Spigen-Tough-Armor-Designed-Galaxy/dp/B06XP4FP8N

I was in the same spot as you. The s8 plus is my first upgrade since s6. I am still waiting for the spigen glass protector, but I am currently using this skinomi "skin" on the screen. Reviews for glass were horrible. But the skin fits amazingly well so far. It obviously won't protect like glass can, but it covers what my case doesn't and it's better than nothing. Microscratches are not cool.

It also comes with two, so I'll probably see how the spigen is and if it fits with my speck Presidio grip. If not, I'll just stick with the skin. Thankfully these companies are usually good about issuing refunds or replacements if something doesn't work.

But I also have device protection so that helps. But it still isn't cheap to get a replacement.

And wet installation is fantastic. You spray a liquid (basically just soap water) directly on your fingers and all over the skin, and then slide it around the phone until it's perfectly aligned. You squeeze the liquid out with a card and it dries on. It's still removable but it takes a while to dry.

Here is the video it gives you https://youtu.be/-Vxd2Y42whg

"Self-Healing, flexible, tough, military-grade thermoplastic urethane, designed to absorb impact. The TechSkin is resistant against scratches, punctures, UV light and will not yellow"

(some heavy duty marketing, but reviews were good)

Weird. Every phone I've ever had, except the one that i put a huge otterbox on, it was a cutout on the edge. Like this protector, currently on my phone.

That's the one I use on my S8+. You basically spray this water/soap solution they provide you onto the screen protector, then you put it on your phone and let it dry. I've dropped my phone several times with this on and a good case and haven't had any issues. That being said if there was really good quality glass screen protector I would get it. People say that the Whitestone Dome Glass is really good, just too expensive for me so I use these instead and like them. I did use glass screen protectors when I had the S5 and will say they provide better screen protection. Just so many of the ones for the S7 Edge, S8, and S8+ only have adhesive on the sides and that ruins touch sensitivity.
