Place your container or pan on the scale, press the tare function and then put your items in the container/pan.CUSTOMER SATISFACTION- All of our Smart Weigh scales are individually tested and backed with a 2-year warranty.

Under 50 bucks. Comes with case, three weighing pans, calibration weights. Measures in 1mg increments.
Yeah he is definitely wrong. I have test weights that I bought separate from scales and my $44 jewelry scale ands extremely accurate. I'll find it on Amazon really fast
edit correction $49 http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B011J88S8M/ref=mp_s_a_1_5?qid=1453515664&sr=8-5&pi=AC_SX118_SY170_QL70&keywords=Milligram+scale&dpPl=1&dpID=51uPNmgqp2L&ref=plSrch
I've enjoyed using this "Smart Weigh Premium High Precision Digital Milligram Scale with Case, Tweezers, Calibration Weights and Three Weighing Pans, 50 x 0.001g" for about a year now. It drifted a bit at first but with fresh batteries and stabilized to room temperature it's all good. Was $45 but currently it's $34 at Amazon.
I found my regular cheap scale to not be accurate enough for small doses. Just picked this one up on Amazon and am pretty happy with it so far for the price...

One of the best scales you can get out there right now is the Smart Weigh product code GEM50 scale (NOT the Gemini 20!) found on Amazon:
https://www.amazon.com/Smart-Weigh-Precision-Milligram-Calibration/dp/B011J88S8M
In almost all areas, it is superior to the Gemini 20, including stability of measurement, repeatability at very low masses, and a Tare button that doesn't drift too much. There were some discussion about this on the sub a few months ago, and everyone who switched from Gemini 20 to the GEM50 thought it was well worth it!
EDIT: Ouch! Touchy, touchy on the karma button, someone is. I happened to peek in today and see this question, so logged in under the last account I remembered. Yeah, the wig makes me itch, too. But if you are going to use karma properly, use it for good and bad information, not based on a popularity contest of who is posting it. If you doubt my opinion of the GEM50 scale, ask /u/TableforSeven2. Despite our kerfuffle a few weeks ago, I do believe she will be honest when saying I directed her to that scale after the GEM20 was very unreliable in precision situations. And she found it to be a better scale in every aspect. The fact that this is coming from me may not make some of you very happy, but it doesn't change the truth of the statement, and the specifications of the two scales.
This sub really is useful to many new users stopping in with questions about dosing, tapering, and apparently shoving things up their ass. But when advice, and particularly bad advice, is voted up simply because of who is saying it, in the long run it destroys the credibility of the forum. And when you downvote because of who is saying something, you are engaging in a form of bullying behavior, that I would think has little utility for even a real life bully. By that, I mean a real life bully gains esteem from the action that is absent when the voting system is anonymous. Even if you don't respect me, please respect the karma system, and don't give ups or downs for frivolous reasons.

I use these ones. https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B011J88S8M
After doing a lot of research but not quite willing to shell out $150 I finally decided on the Gem-50, and so far this one at it has worked great for me:

especially if you use the method ATalkingOcelot mentions in this thread. For example weigh an empty Type 0 gelatin capsule (usually 100mg), put your stuff is in there, weigh again, subtract 100mg. Is a lot more accurate than putting the empty gelatin capsule on there and hitting tare.
I use this one and I bought a calibration kit as well to verify the weight

I find this to be the best in the price range. I find it far nicer than the gemini 20, the build quality is great, the accessaries are ok, the carrying case is nice.
I have owned 2 other mg scales, a gemini 20, and a cheaper smart weigh, both were ok, but this one is very nice, especially if you can get it on sale.
One thing you can do is never measure anything below 50mg, use a tray or measuring paper and instead of tarring just write down the weight, then add what you need. For example if your tray is 75mg and you want to measure our 30mg then you add to a total of 105mg.
I've got this one which has a varience of about 2mg. It costs a little more than a gemini20 but I recommend it to all my friends.
Tried the ~5 mg experiment last night. Very glad we did. Wife reacted way more intensely than I did and had some negative thought loops that we didn't expect. Here's how it all went down (we might have made some mistakes here so listing for feedback/constructive criticism):
Big question to the group: does 2C-B have a threshold dose (like MDMA) where you are for sure going to get the full impact? Wondering if a small dose, while good to get a feel for the molecule, might not get you all the way there. Wife is now not sure she wants to do it again so trying to gather some info. Still, really thankful for u/DrugsAreMagic for this reply as we would not have wanted this experience at the tail end of our roll. I now fully understand why the "rule" is the rule. Thanks all!
Amazon has real decent ones. For 40 bucks this one can’t be beat and has been bulletproof and comes with calibration weights and a case
