I read and loved Penpal when it was originally posted on reddit. Can't think of anything like it really, but this dude Stephen Young writes these ebooks supposedly based on true accounts of people going missing in forests and national parks. I haven't read them, but I guess they're sort of like David Paulides's 'Missing 411' series, which I found through another /r/nosleep post a while back by that park ranger about the creepy shit and disappearances that happen in national parks. Just a thought!
