Oh, sorry, I do wear a fanny pack that's mostly unnoticeable to me. I tuck it into my shorts to keep it from bouncing.
If you're looking for something that doesn't require a phone, allowing you to go without a fanny pack altogether, consider one of Sony's Sports Wearables.
Thanks for the advise! I was thinking about purchasing the headphones/mp3 player but not sure if I like the design. This guy looks ideal, but has terrible customer reviews. I want to be able to sync playlists, and evidently this version has difficultly doing so.
I have a Sony wearable MP3 player for running/gym. It's waterproof and there's no cords to get caught on things and yank the earbuds out of your ears.

These are < $80. They don't connect to your phone, but they do have a built in 4GB hard drive which I actually like more. They are completely waterproof (I swim with them), and stay on extremely well.

Not bluetooth headphones, but a stand-alone mp3 player that works great are these from Sony.
They're even good in the pool.
