2,4-d is good for broadleaf weed. Won't kill grass but it will kill st augustine which you don't have.

there are... your standard 2nd fertilizer of the growing season will be a weed and feed. really needs to be applied to a wet lawn. (1st is a weed barrier, 2nd is week control, 3rd is ussually insect control, 4th is formulated for winter, or so the marketing says, but specific needs can change it of course)
With that said... my experience has not been awesome. spot spraying with https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0072289CA/ref=sr_ph?ie=UTF8&qid=1464796929&sr=1&keywords=weed+killer has given the best results for me.
1.... put on funnel over the wand nozzle and spay the weeds. This prevents the wind from blowing the spray around to other areas.
2.... something like this, it works ok
https://www.amazon.com/Southern-Ag-Selective-Broadleaf-Control/dp/B0072289CA/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1492125031&sr=8-7&keywords=weed+killer
2.... this is some of the best stuff but not cheap. You might be able to find it in smaller containers. Just make sure you understand how to use it and always test it first.

3.... Weed block but that can become a pain later on.
extra... If you have crabgrass use on of these and follow the instructions, it works great and will NOT kill your good grass.

Best if sprayed by something like this:

With an adjustable tip for good spot coverage.
I would recommend this, a 2,4d concentrate. I am in 7B as well and had many of the same broad-leaf weeds that you have. I applied two applications in late March and it killed them all without harming my turf.

So your best planting time is now based on my research. So here is what I would do, based on what I did last fall.

I buy both the Southern Ag 2-4-d and surfactant. As you can see it is pretty cost effective as well.

Also, should I spray now or wait until my grass starts to green up?
>creeping
You nailed it! It’s creeping charlie. It’s notoriously aggressive and resilient, but I had a lot of success with this last summer.
not familiar one with them but yeah there is one sort of close to me. I can't get speedzone, but something like https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0072289CA/ref=nav_timeline_asin?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 looks much stronger than the product I bought.
Is this a good one?

I wouldn't. Glyphosate needs to be absorbed through the leaves. It will be unsightly for a week or so while they die, but once dead then you can weed eat, then spray 2,4-D which will go after anything left over (and roots).
I use this 2,4-D but there's several brands that contain it like this at home depot
People are saying that its Knotweed. You can use a weedkiller like this one https://www.amazon.com/Southern-Ag-Killer-Control-Broad-Leaf/dp/B0072289CA to kill it. Note that more is not better when you mix weed killer. Don't add any more than the container says (which on the one I linked, is one tablespoon per gallon.) You'll only increase the risk of poisoning plants you don't want to kill, and waste your weed killer.
Something with 2 4D in it will kill the Dandelions. I bought this last year and it was great for killing them.
Just mix it in a gallon sprayer and spot spray the buggers.
Or buy something like this from the Big Box stores. Just make sure you get the one that says "Kills Weeds Not Lawns." Roundup also makes a couple of spray products that will kill everything, including the lawn.
