Our Powder Duster with a medal base is more durable and effective then other plastic models like the: Red JT Eaton Duster or the Black/Crome JT Eaton Duster. Our Powder Puffer Duster has tan bellow with black plastic cap on end of the metal extension tip. The base of this Powder Duster is metal and blue in color. This bellow is much easier to compress then competitors products like the stiff and hard model that JT Eaton sells. This is a New & Improved Bellow Duster! Best one on the market and more durable then those cheap plastic dusters!Works great with Diatomaceous Earth & Silica Gel Desiccant Dust
Roaches don't just magically appear, they were almost certainly there before; it's just a matter of where they had to hide previously vs. now.
Clean everything. Vacuum/mop all the floors, wipe all horizontal surfaces, empty sinks and wipe clean thoroughly. Basically deep clean the entire house. Hire a maid service if need be. They have a food source somewhere; find it and eliminate it. Don't leave dirty dishes in the sink, rinse them. Don't leave crumbs or dirty plates on tables or floors. Don't leave any sort of candy or other food wrappers laying around. Have kids? Check everywhere they are likely to have wiped their hands for smeared remnants of food.
Go get yourself a big old bag of food grade DE and a duster. Spray that shit in all cracks and crevices in the house; around/under/behind cabinets in the kitchen and bathrooms, under baseboards (especially exterior walls), and around any gaps in window and door frames. If your bathroom floor is uneven, feel free to get it into any crevices under the toilet if it's not caulked down.
It's cold and wet this time of year, so unfortunately DE bombing outside isn't going to help much. Come spring/summer if you hit a dry spell in your area be sure to examine the exterior of the house for cracks, crevices, and gaps where pests can get in and either find a way to fix them, or bomb them with DE. Unfortunately DE doesn't not work well in really humid climates or when it's wet - you may need to reapply occasionally.
I'm still organizing it, but my "kit" includes:
There's probably more, but that's all I can think of for now.

You'd think the frequency you're getting bit, that you'd see one somewhere by now.. kinda sounds like there's a few fleas still lingering. My brother had a flea issue and bought this trap and said it started catching fleas within 15 min. Can't hurt to get one or 2 to use in the rooms you're noticing bites in.
He was also dealing with a bedbug problem at the time and used this CimeXa Powder and it helped a ton also. He used a 1" angled paint brush to apply the powder to the cracks and crevices and a powder duster to dust larger areas.
Do yourself a favor, and pickup some diatomaceous earth and a powder duster to rid yourself of the those little demons. The BIL had them and had bug bombed and had 2 different exterminators try to kill them... But was still infested. We grabbed these, dusted ALL over anywhere they were or could hide.... Been rid of them over a year now since that single dusting we did.
Below are the ones that we picked up. But your local Walmart/Lowes/Home Depot should also have similar items.

This is the one I got for myself for my house/family and it worked a treat! It is, however, 10lbs of the stuff.... It should last us several lifetimes!
Also, add a duster to the list. You should keep people/pets away and wear a respirator/dust mask when using the duster to apply DE, but dusters spread much more evenly/finely and can get in cracks/bedding/furniture better. To apply DE to pet fur, just pour it on (try to avoid their nose/mouth area).
Well if you are applying to voids and normally inaccessible place the animals should not be an issue. If you get particulates on the ground then you will need to mop it up. Cats are biggest worry cause they lick their paws. I'll edit in a link to the duster I have.

put a light coating of d.earth down once a week, you shouldn't even see it really on the floors. but with that duster it is easy to get into every single crack and outlet.
